- July - MXSweep announces European SaaS distribution deal with Cloudmore
MXSweep, a worldwide
provider of email security as a service, today announced a pan European
distribution deal with Cloudmore AB, formerly Smarthost, a
leading cloud service distributor based in Sweden.
- April - TERMINALFOUR opens new North American HQ
TERMINALFOUR is proud to announce that, in order to capitalise on the growing
demand in the US, the company has opened its US headquarters in Cambridge, MA.
TERMINALFOUR recently secured contracts worth $200,000 to deploy enterprise web

- April - MXSweep raise EUR800,000 in latest funding
MXSweep, a specialist in e-mail Security-as-a-Service,
recently raised €800,000 from existing shareholders
and Enterprise Ireland. The latest round of funding is
to finance a push into new international markets in the
Benelux countries and Scandinavia.
- March - OpenJaw Technologies establishes Scandinavian Subsidiary
The new subsidiary supports OpenJaw's growth strategy and its ability to deliver
enhanced services to its increasing customer base in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
OpenJaw's Scandinavian customer base already includes the leading carrier within
the Scandinavian countries, SAS; Norway's
leading cruise and transport company, Color

- October - Movidia secures funding to enable budding "Spielbergs on the
move"
Movidia, the mobile video processor company,
announced today that it had secured over US$14 million in Series A funding.
Investments from an international syndicate led by Celtic House Venture
Partners and Capital-E and including Emertec Gestion, AIB Seed Capital Fund and
Enterprise Ireland will help the fabless
semiconductor and software company to bring to market its highly innovative
mobile video processor technology. Movidia's first product, already proven in
silicon, is set to launch in early 2009.
- September - OpenJaw Technologies acquires Traventec to accelerate growth strategy
Under the acquisition agreement, Traventec becomes a fully owned subsidiary of
OpenJaw Technologies and will operate under the OpenJaw brand. The acquisition
will enhance OpenJaw Technologies' solution portfolio and service offerings to
global travel companies in the development of their ecommerce strategies,
creating agile and dynamic solutions to address their business challenges.
Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
